Who We Are

IXO is a non-sectarian organization for sending North Americans to share their lives with Chinese university students by means of teaching English.

IXO provides the project logistics, organizations travel arrangements, university placements, North American trainers, and curricula to organizations and campus groups, outreach organizations, and university organizations to enable them to send their people to China. IXO assists these organizations by providing university contractual arrangement, in-country air and train travel, touring, accommodations, National and Western guides and assistance in teaching curricula. IXO encourages and promotes training groups to adopt a university for regular and consistent interaction and exchanges.

IXO works with recommended individuals and groups that either fit the current team profile needed in China or with groups which present special opportunities (programs, skills, training, etc.) to open new work.

IXO prefers to work with nonprofits and campus organizations that can provide training and oversight of their team in preparation for the project.

By providing quality English curricula, lecture series, and cultural exchanges through persons with high moral character, IXO has been warmly welcomed by Chinese university administrators and English Department faculty since 1996.
