Requirements
If you choose to participate in an IXO trip, IXO obtains your airline tickets, travel visa, travel insurance, housing, and other essentials. However, you must be eligible for the relevant documentation and physically able to participate. More specifically, this means:
- You must present a valid passport to IXO at least 6 weeks before departure (note: passport must not expire within 6 months of your return to the states).
- You must be eligible to obtain a Chinese travel visa (note: IXO secures this for you).
- You must be eligible for travel insurance (note: IXO secures this for you).
- You must pay the balance of trip costs before departure.
- You must be responsible to IXO for expenses incurred in the event of cancellation.
- You must remain current with CDC's recommended travel immunizations for Northern China.
- You must report serious health issues, in writing, to your team leader.
