Guidelines
While in China, participants must keep in mind that they are representing IXO in all situations and at all times. Their behavior, attitude, and actions must uphold the integrity, purpose, and beliefs of IXO. The continued presence of IXO in China must not be compromised in any way. The laws and cultural beliefs of China must be respected.
- The IXO Personnel (Western and Asian) will have the right to send home any person or group at their own added expense if they compromise IXO, the university or China.
- All participants are not to use drugs or engage in any drunken or improper behavior.
- All participants are to refrain from initiating romantic relationships with other participants.
- No discussion of politics (Western or Asian) or any other potentially embarrassing comments concerning our hosts or their culture will be tolerated.
